The Next Step on a Journey to Change

NCDIT Service Portal refreshed look for an improved user-focused experience.

At the N.C. Department of Information Technology, our commitment to our customers is at the heart of what we do.

Whether you are an NCDIT or state employee, an agency partner or constituent engaging with us, the NCDIT Service Portal is often your first interaction when you need help with something.

Last year alone, we received more than 143,500 requests through our service portal.

That is why we are undertaking a long-term effort to create a user-focused experience that is consistent, more intuitive, enjoyable and – most importantly – based on your feedback.

Recently, we rolled out a refreshed look along with a few other exciting improvements.

What’s to Come

In the coming year, NCDIT is undertaking a transformational step with the NCDIT Service Portal and our IT service management processes.

We are diligently working to make our service catalog more intuitive so you can more quickly find the help you need.

We are also updating our list of services to be more easily understood as you engage us for services or support. We aim to use your words and language to create a seamless support experience as we transform.

We cannot wait to share more about the changes to come. Some of these changes will not be immediately noticed, but these are the foundational components of our improved customer experience – designed with you in mind.
